Research that has to earn its position.
Advanced Equities runs live capital the way a real fund does: sector coverage teams, written theses, committee review, and a book that only admits our highest-conviction work.

We built a fund, not a club.
Advanced Equities (AE) is a student-run investment and research organization with $20k+ in live capital, focused on developing the next generation of disciplined, research-driven investors.
We operate through sector-based coverage teams that produce institutional-style equity research. Analysts own names, build the model, write the thesis, and defend it. Only our highest-conviction case studies earn portfolio inclusion, which means most work never makes the book. That filter is the point.
Our structure mirrors a real investment fund. Executive Directors, Senior Partners, Sector Heads, and analysts collaborate to generate actionable insights, with clear ownership at every level and feedback that moves in both directions. Junior analysts get read by people who will push back. Senior members answer for what their teams publish.
Capital is managed conservatively. We hold meaningful cash rather than force positions, and a name enters the portfolio only when the research supports it at a price we can defend.
Most student funds teach you what a DCF is. We make you defend one in front of people who will find the hole in it.

Seven sectors, seven heads
